Learning Objectives: Basics of algorithm design and time complexity. Data abstraction & Abstract Data Types (ADT). Linear structures: Multidimensional arrays and their storage organization. Files. Lists, stacks and queues. Hashing techniques. Recursion. Nonlinear structures: trees, and graphs. Binary trees. Tree traversal algorithms. B-tree and B+-tree structures. Graphs: representation of a graph and applications of graphs. Lab Session: Programming assignments of applications that use the data structures studied in class.
