ELEC 231 - Fundamentals of Electronics |
Op amps, PN junction, Diode and Zener diode characteristics and applications. BJTs and MOSFETs, DC analysis of transistors circuits, Transistors as a switch, Transistor as an amplifier, Small signal equivalent circuits, Biasing techniques, Single-stage and multi-stage amplifiers. Several laboratory experiments will be conducted for characterizing diodes and transistors, and designing and testing electronic circuits that employ op amps, diodes, BJTs, and MOSFETs.
