ENGL 202 - English Language I Post Foundation
English Language I Post Foundation is based on learner-centric academic writing, with an emphasis on process-based writing of academic essays and paraphrasing. Focus is also placed on the development of critical and reflective thinking skills via an autonomous Blackboard online learning program comprised of Critical Reading & Writing and a Reflective Learning Journal. As well, students employ critical thinking and entrepreneurial skills through Blackboard online journals where they are asked to reflect on their improvements through drafting, collaborative peer review, and conferencing, and engage in independent decision-making through planning and responding to feedback which allows them to take responsibility in their writing.
