Electric current, voltage, power, and dependent and independent sources, Kirchhoff’s current and voltage laws, Ohm’s law and simplification of series/parallel. DC circuit analysis, Nodal and Mesh analysis, Superposition,
Thevenin’s and Norton’s theorems, Source transformation and maximum power transfer, Capacitance and Inductance; Capacitors and inductors series/parallel connections. AC Circuits Analysis. phasor representation, complex impedances. Sinusoids and phasors. Sinusoidal steady-state analysis. Several laboratory experiments to reinforce material from the lectures will be conducted.
